Mother's Day 2009

We had a nice Mother's Day this year. My mom came up so it was a double celebration.

It wasn't his first or last, just the only one we've managed to catch. Let the family discussion on which shade of blue (or burnt orange) he will wear should he prove to have actual skills.

April

The whole month of April slipped away for us. Apologies to the grandparents et. al. for not keeping up with the pictures. April had a few firsts for him. he got his first basketball goal, and make his first basket! He had his first trip to Lake Travis as well. He's been keeping us busy with his improved motor skills and coordination. He can now catch the ball as well as shoot it. He's also starting to make sentences, stringing words together like Mama Max water, meaning mama and max are drinking water together. He's getting better at asking for what he wants, drink, bite, up please etc. A new favorite is pulling himself up on the couch and patting the spot next him and saying "Mama/Dada sit, book please".
